We came upon this place by accident (thanks to an erratic satnav) and it hit the spot for a quiet, local lunch. No menu... Huge portion of chicken casserole served with potatoes plus a pint of Tinto de Verano came to 7 euros per person... I think we would have got a dessert and coffee included in that, but we had to head off. VERY local, but friendly staff and various wandering animals lounging around in the heat. read more.

Bar Carril has been run by the same two ladies for many years. Large outside terrace. Not exciting food but the usual offerings from a local village bar. No draught beer....all bottled. read more.
