"Dog friendly must be on a leash. Meal was very large , doggie bag needed . Table's are cleaned between customers. Vaccinated pass essential. Take away available . Two large outside seating and garden bar. Clean toilets . Free pool on Sunday ."

"So happy I found this place! I was itching for some good fish and chips and saw it was recommended in an online article for the area I was in. It's very local, nice to be away from tourists. The cod was excellent light batter and flaky, delicate fish. The crayfish was delicious as well they suggested it grilled and it hit the spot. It's right on the water with a beautiful view. They are only open Friday through Sunday, so plan accordingly, you will be happy you did!"

"So brilliant to have a separate vegan menu at this place, overlooking the sea in Moeraki. I first tried the Mac n cheese when the vegan menu first came out, it definitely needed more sauce, but the part was huge and staff for feedback. Today we had the vegan nachos (mainly to see carrots and peas there, but it tasted all well), fries, garden salad (one main in itself), and the boulder pizza (a thin and crunchy base, Tandoori mushrooms, vegan cheese, onion and many coriander yum). Definitely worth a stop when you are in this part of the world."

"What a joy! First class home cooking and delicious teas and coffee. I wish I could call more often but only in area annually. It is such good value and delightful manners of owner. Also good connections with locals so can put you in touch with tourist activities such as fishing."

"Staff were lovely. Meals were reasonable prices at around between $10-17 for lunch including a drink. Well located with decent parking outside for those with a trailer etc. Kid friendly with some books to read etc.Clean, well kept bathrooms available inside. They have gluten free options and gf bread available there too. Would stop there again if in the area."
