I stayed in the Mariposario Reserva. It was the most wonderful experience!!! I love the morning walks to the waterfall and see the butterflies, humming birds and pizotes during my walks. In the afternoon I sat on the balcony to enjoy the rain drinking a cup of local hot chocolate. View all feedback.
What Laura J doesn't like about Atitlán Nature Preserve:
This is a nice place to take a short hike in the woods but it's not a great value. The admission price is high, about $11USD. There as rent many trails and there was more garbage than we expected for a place with a high cost of admission. We did not see monkeys or pisotes. View all feedback.
