This spot is a hidden gem. We were wandering around on for trying to decide what to have for dinner for our last night in Panama when we came across Kokio. The owner and waitresses were soo nice and spoke English! The food was deeeeelicious and good sized servings! Wish we had discovered this spot earlier in our vacation, we would've hit it everyday. The food was good, service could be better. This restaurant is intimate and was a bit difficult to find (for me as a tourist, maybe? . I really enjoyed the chicken—the sauce and rice was just perfect and really complemented each other. I usually order takoyaki whenever I visit Japanese restaurants and I liked theirs as well. The service was excellent, they made you feel very comfortable. It was my first time trying Korean food, so i don't know if the taste was accurate. But it was delicious, and it wasn't expensive, having in mind the difficulty to find ingredients here in Panama.
