The food is good, authentic Indian cuisine. The atmosphere could be more Indian, even though you have Bollywood dancing on the screen, it could be more authentic. Music should also be a background sound and not drown out people’s conversation, but this is an issue throughout the country. Cocktails weren’t good, tasted strange, old, stale. View all feedback.

I tried Raj and Maharaja (a short walk from each other). Raj is reasonably good, but it’s worth walking over to Maharaja. We had the butter chicken, samosas with mint chutney, garlic naan, and tandoori shrimp—the worst offender. The butter chicken was fine. The samosas not as crispy or delicious as anticipated.
