Everything was amazing from the view of the city to each item we ate. The pairing and presentation was on point and the server was one of the best we had in Panamá. The carpaccio was delicious, the Kobe skewers were out of this world and the desserts rocked. Not only will we be back but now I’m going to try the one in Miami. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Makoto:
The location (especially outside) is very nice and the view is amazing. The service is dissapointing, there were many waiters standing together, but are not proactive unfortunately. Moreover, the food is not bad, however I expected it to be better based on expected price/qualitity balance. The sushi with fried shrimp had a lot of asperagus and little shrimp. All dishes are quite small as well View all feedback.

Sit out on the patio for a spectacular view of the city! None of the signature cocktails caught our attention so we settled on traditional margaritas, which were amazing! Everything we ate was perfect hot stone, dumplings, short rib, sushi, salad, coffee ice cream. Staff was not very proactive/attentive tho, every time we needed something we had to wave them over.
Perfect place for a date! Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and unique. Definitely recommend trying multiple appetizers and a main dish. High end service and just great experience.
Food is ok. The atmosphere is nice, but only on the terrace. Inside it feels like a canteen. So make sure you reserve a table outside. The seats are uncomfortable though.
All the dishes I tried were absolutely amazing. Price point for quality of food is definitely fair in my opinion. Great service. A wonderful experience and I would go back again anytime without any hesitation. It is a Japanese spot to check out for sure if you are in or visiting Panama.
