Yelp is always right! Without eggs, we never wanted to see and eat at this anonymous place. On the way back from a weekend at the beach, we thought we wouldn't make it alive if we didn't eat in the next few miles. We stumbled upon a well-rated small restaurant near a gas station. As soon as we approached, we were greeted warmly by nice people and had an amazing Southern-style meal. If this place wasn't so far from ho... View all feedback.

This restaurant is okay, but I don't plan on returning. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallop fettuccine special, but the portion size was small for the $16 price tag. I opted for the sautéed garlic shrimp, which was advertised as a generous portion of gulf shrimp with bread and 2 sides for $18. However, I only received 8 pieces of shrimp, which felt overpriced. The staff was friendly and the food was decent, but I have to give this place 2 stars due to the high prices for the portion sizes and the other dining options in the area.
The restaurant had great service and food. The fried cheese curds from Wisconsin were amazing. The grouper chowder was top-notch, as was the excellent grouper sandwich. Rachel provided fantastic service as our server, and Lisa, the host, treated us exceptionally well. The no name pie was absolutely delicious.
We not only love Sue's restaurant, but Sue herself as well. She is passionate about her food and it really shows. Everything is always fresh, homemade, and delicious. While everything on the menu is great, our favorites are the open-faced roast beef sandwich and the classic Shrimp J Michael Old Style.
Yelp was right on the money! Without Yelp, we never would have stopped to eat at this seemingly unassuming place from the outside. On our way back home from a weekend at the beach, we realized we wouldn't make it back without some food in the next few miles. We searched for a good place to refuel and were pleasantly surprised to find this highly rated small restaurant near a gas station. As we approached, we hesitated and wondered if we were making the right choice. But once inside, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, and enjoyed a delicious southern style dinner. If it weren't so far from home, I would come back here every month. If you happen to be in the area, don't miss out on stopping by this gem!
