When I 'm on a road trip, I am always on the lookout for unique places to check out and make my trip all the more memorable. The Gem is exactly what I 'm looking for! A historic theater (around even BEFORE motion pictures! run by the same family, that still operates as a movie theater. They serve food and hands down THE best ice cream I 've ever had.. Had lunch here today. The food was overcooked and not good. When we asked about the overdoneness we were told the food was cooked to a temp and was suppose to be that way. The staff was very defensive and rude to this feedback. The food was overcooked, charred and dried out. Yuck!!! View all feedback.
