Malvan Tadka - Panvel

The restaurant is situated on the old Pune Mumbai highway in Panvel. The food is fantastic and so is the service. Parking is also available.

I stayed at Vinamra Residency during my business trip to Mumbai in August 2016. It was a last-minute travel plan so I didn't make any advance reservations and booked this hotel through the Oyo App on my phone while heading from Mumbai Airport to Panvel. Booking through the Oyo app also gave me a good discount. I chose this hotel because the app indicated it was across from Panvel Bus Stand, which seemed like a central location to me (as it was my first visit to Panvel). Upon checking in, I found the room to be clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities such as a TV, wardrobe, study table, dressing table, and a clean bathroom. The included breakfast was also good. Although I didn't have lunch or dinner in the hotel, they do have a restaurant with reasonable prices. However, the room service was not very efficient and they don't serve tea all day long. On the second day, I only wanted tea for lunch and it took over an hour for room service to deliver it. When I complained about the delay, I was informed that they don't serve tea during meal times. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a convenient location. The Panvel Bus Stop is just across the road, the Railway Station is nearby, and there is a mall across the road as well. Additionally, the local market surrounding the hotel is a good option for exploring.

The restaurant serves tasty sea food. Live crabs and fish are on display at the entrance. Valet parking is available.
