"Visited here for brunch and dinner. Very close to the beach access point. During brunch Chicken wasn’t available so I ordered a fish. The service was very good as both the waiter who interacted with us were very friendly and went to and fro a number of times to check on availability of Buddha Bowls, chicken steak, both of which weren’t available during brunch. My vegetarian wife had a vegetarian sizzler. My fish wasn’t hot and the taste was alright. We ordered the food without rice or fries. Later during the dinner, we again went here since it we walked a lot on the beach and this was closer compared to other famous restaurants. They had live music. We had sort of a candle light dinner. Wife ordered a Veg Thukpa and me a chicken steak and pineapple juice. Wife got a chicken thukpa instead of veg so we returned it and got it exchanged at no worry. I too had asked no mashed potatoes but still got it. The place was full so the chef must have been under pressure. We still liked the ambiance and loved the food. The order time though took a while. During brunch we waited an hour and during dinner as well. A little more maybe due to the wrong order."

"Being a Kochiite, I was skeptical about finding a good restaurant in Kollam some place that 'll satisfy my vegetarian taste buds. Ramees literally shocked me. Their service always serving food to their customers with a smile, cleanliness, and very reasonable rates make it the best restaurant in Kollam. Though there 're lesser veg options on the menu, EACH EVERY dish is yummmmy. Especially their Paneer Butter Masala and Veg Kohlapuri. Their non veg options are plenty and can satisfy any foodie! Will recommend Ramees to anyone who 's visiting Kollam 'cz it 's worth everything!"

"Best place to dine-in at kollam,Period.. food was good.. atmosphere was good.. But ther service was exceptional.. Their body language and the way they serve, is never seen anywhere in kollam..not even in 5 star hotels... Mr Ganesh and all other staffs are really nice.. We came back after the great 1st time experience.. 2nd time also was really great .. A highly underrated place"

"At this point, I 've honestly lost the count on how many times I 've visited Uncle Cafe. There was a week were I 've had mandi 5 times in a row every evening! That says something right. So, after visiting there for like more than 10+ times i think I 'm ready to write a review on the place. I 've mostly ever had mandi from here. Literally like every time, for how value for money it is, 150 for a quarter mandi come one now... that 's honestly surprising. The other food I 've had are shawarma, alfaham or biriyani they 're nice additions too but like i said, I 've always go with the mandi.(proud mandhi lover here The only -ve thing I have with the mandi even though it 's near perfect for the price, I always find the mayonnaise they provide with mandi is just ok and sometimes not that good, I honestly like them to make a better mayo for mandhi, the reason for saying 'for mandhi ' is that, mayo for shawarma or alfaham is good so I dunno why it 's bad in just mandi. The service they provide are good too all of the staffs are friendly and caring so they got that part right. Like I said earlier, I 've come to this place lot of times that the staffs treats me like family, sorta ; Over-all I 've loved the place and I 'm glad I 've found the place. Even though it existed there way before it but only when they changed into the new place, I got knew bout the budget friendly Uncle Cafe . I 'm feeling a solid 9/10 on this one."
