Did not feel like a fine dining restaurant, the starters were average (we ordered the spring rolls and vegetable dumplings) and the main course was good… overall nothing special. Location of the hotel is nice the DJ was nice too View all feedback.
We decided to test the famous brunch of the peninsula after reading and seeing pretty reviews on it and beautiful pictures of the buffet. the place is very nice, there is a beautiful architecture inside. As soon as we get here, we'll have a good time in silence. You have to book for brunch first. The welcome is perfect, the team in the room is at the lowest care. the buffet, in another room, seems small but offers a variety of dishes (sweet, salty. There are staff to guide you and prepare an egg plate according to your choice, etc. The smile is present to everyone, it's nice. food is good, there is for all tastes, we feel that the products are fresh. small dish on the madeleines and cookies that were hard and dry. service is very good, but why is it such a mixed note? I don't have an appetite for oat, hungry for the sweet part, I wanted to take some small desserts (without abuse) to taste them later. I told a waitress who gave me, she asked me to pick desserts on my plate. I didn't see it in my selection so I asked a chef a big short-haired brunette who was wearing a chef outfit who immediately told me that it wasn't the case, who was looking for who the waitress, asked us to describe it. I found his arrogant behavior and especially not professional. the comb, once he was interrogated the people in the room and found the person, he was the reprimand, we heard everything because we were right next to this room. I was very embarrassed for this person, I even apologize for trying to take these few desserts. Besides, this chef threw the few desserts in the box because she was all in mind, put anywhere. I've already had the opportunity to test several palaces and none of them had this behavior. the professionalism of this person must be examined, his disagreement must not be seen by the client, that he will punish his colleague before the client is manifestly not professional, even if he is responsible (no room at all), he should wait for the client's departure or take into account later. conclusion: it's a shame to finish on this bitter note, the brunch had gone well. I don't think I'll be back so fast.
We came with family to celebrate the birthday of my niece during this Sunday brunch. the setting is always beautiful in the hotel lobby. food is a copyful and varied with a wide choice of meat, meat, seafood, hot dishes and desserts, with fresh fruit and vegetables. dishes are regularly reassorted. the staff is in small care to serve dishes according to your desire and soft drinks. Too bad that champagne is not included in the price of 140 euros, otherwise the value ratio price is quite correct. Thank you to all the staff.
