diner mother/daughter, I wanted to make her discover good Thai flavors, a little lost between Montmartre and white one fell on the restaurant by chance but what luck !!!! service is pleasant even if not ultra fast, it allows you to enjoy the moment and the sleek setting of the restaurant. we chose the tasting menu at 25€ and the portions were more than copyy, each very good dish. Booked this restaurant by chance as i was browsing looking for restaurants that serve thai cuisine in central Paris. Unfortunately from the moment I went in i felt uncomfortable, the tables are too close to each other; nearly touching the other patrons. Very slow service. Mediocre food. It was said not to use finger cutlery for the starter. Starter included shrimps that were not mentioned in the menu. Despite the first customers in and order lasted an hour and a half to serve for the main course. Disappoint.
We have always enjoyed Thai food around the world. Unfortunately, we found the food at Soji Thai to be unusually bland. I requested that my soup be prepared moderately spicy, and the owner actually argued that is not how it should be prepared. In addition, when we received the check, they did not apply the 30% discount advertised on the reservation. The manager pulled out his phone and tried to tell me that I had cancelled my reservation. Due to a schedule change, we had to cancel our original reservation and rebook. Even after showing the manager a valid, current reservation on TheFork.com, he still refused to honor the discount. I chose not to argue the point, but the manager was quite rude and raised his voice at me. I will not be returning to Soji Thai restaurant again.
Small restaurant with about 22 covers. Great menu with Thai classics. Waiting time a little slow but then realised that the only lady serving, was doing everything! Excellent quality dishes and really tasty. Would recommend.
