My wife and I first visited this wonderful and unique restaurant about ten years ago. It is a story--a French chef leaving France to live in Hong Kong for five years and returning with a cuisine not French, not Asian and not exactly fusion either. We 've wanted to eat at Yamtcha for a long time since we saw a Netflix show Chef 's Table . We are very disappointed from the start. The unfriendly staff brought us to our table and we felt so unwelcome. No explanation of the restaurant concept and paired with cold service.
