We went to this restaurant 2 days in a row because we liked it so much. It is a small family owned restaurant. They offered to make any plate for our children and adapted their menu to our wishes. I had never experienced to much flexibility in making sure we had what we wanted. Food ws delicious and so were the wines! Best breaded chicken my kids had!! Small family run cafe. Very nice service. Very fast indeed, we were in kind of hurry, and we're afraid of the long wait. Had an outstanding mushroom risotto.
I had the pleasure of eating here with my family in June. I am from Denmark and have lived in Paris for half a year in June when my family came to visit me. I had a Bib Gourmand restaurant reserved for the next day and we chose this to get something decent quickly. Everything we had (4 persons) was delicious. We all ended up having three courses and everything was perfectly satisfying. Most dishes are rather simple but you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs so profoundly, that you don 't miss higher complexity. The restaurant is owned by a family. We had the pleasure of being served by both father and son. The son speaks English perfectly well and the father was so polite, fun and warm-hearted in trying to understand my French (which is utterly awful). You could clearly feel the warmth and love from the family in the restaurant, and I felt home to a degree I seldom do at restaurants. The 3 course offer (I think it is 35eur for 3 courses) is a steal and is easily worth it. From within my frame of experience, this restaurant offers a stunning value for money and I recommend It highly! Ps. It goes without saying that A la Table d 'Eulalie was better and cheaper than the Bib Gourmand restaurant we had dinner at the next day.
I loved this place. The owners are fantastic and so attentive. The food was so good, flavourful with a real home cooked vibe. Portions are big too. We ordered the frogs legs as an entree to try them, they were delicious. My husband got the lamb rack and I got the steak. I would highly recommend this place!
I love dining in this neighborhood because there are so many gems to be found such as this restaurant near Denfert Rochereau metro. I came at 7:30 and they were packed by 8:15p. I highly suggest this restaurant and that you reserve on The Fork.
La nourriture est bonne, le cadre est sympa mais le mieux reste le petit serveur brun!!! Je recommande!
