While in Paris we took scenic Bus 69 for a self tour of famous monuments and well known neighborhoods. This line crisscrosses the 7th arrondissement and connects it with the Musée d’Orsay, the 6th arrondissement and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Marais, and ends a little past the famous Père Lachaise cemetery. The bus route ends a little past the cemetery in a neighborhood that has cafes, and shopping. Before hopping back on for our return trip to the Champ de Mars we decided to take a break and get something to eat. The Le Houblon du Vin'eme is located at the corner of Ave Gambetta and Rue des Gatines a short block from bus stop. The sidewalk cafe and bar caters to locals although were very courteous and friendly to us. They had already stopped serving lunch but the manager who spoke some English said he could bring us some bread and a meat and cheese plate The french cheeses and different types of sausages with fresh bread was perfect and delicious. I ordered a cappuccino while my husband ordered a vodka drink. We sat for a while after we finished enjoying our drinks and watching the activity in the neighborhood. So glad we ran into this neighborhood pub and sidewalk cafe. Take a break and enjoy a drink or a snack before rushing back on Bus 69.
Large atmosphere The 7 € pizzas are delicious. Slim the boss organized a blind test that we just drink a drink and we sang until late in the night An address in the 20th
Place of beautiful cheap drinks and a superb reception and cheap pizza. I advise.
