What Hélène Lucas doesn't like about Maison Hecht:
The pastries and cakes are good, fresh and recommendable but DO NOT spend your money on hot beverages here. I ordered a cappuccino and a café-au-lait and both were served on a small plastic cup (usually used for water) - you pay close to a Starbucks price, get served 1/3 of the amount and have to drink it from a thin plastic cup. "We booked a table, but they forgot us. we came and the restaurant was somehow closed. we ordered 4 main dishes (salmon, andouillette, confit and an salat.) they were cold (including french french french french.) it seemed more than food they warmed, instead of cooked. not worth the 90€ we paid for it."
