Sammy's Bistro Express - Park City

We ate here two days ago and it was so good we had to come back. Day 1 was the Greek Chicken Gyro and Salmon Teriyaki bowls. Both were excellent. Today I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were life changing! The fish was seasoned to perfection and the mango salsa transported me. The mushroom burger that my husband ordered was perhaps the best burger I?ve ever tried. The sweet potato fries were ideal. If you like interesting, delicious food, this is the place for you!

I am giving one star in hope of the owners seeing my disappointment in their prolific use of single-use plastic. We dined in and everything was still served in big plastic containers. I shouldn?t have to explain why this is a total disgrace, especially in a resort town where one would think the population is more affluent and educated. One star does not describe the food and the service. The food is quite good for counter service, quick food, and I appreciate the vegan options. The service is also very good. I hope this establishment adopts compostable material for their disposable use to reduce plastic waste.

It's a good sign that this place is busy around 2 to 4 pm on a weekday. This was a great restaurant with tasty food. My only issue were the prices but it is Park City so it's not out of the ordinary.

I usually don't care for vegetarian food where fake meat patties are used, but I decided to give the poutine bowl a try. I'm not a vegetarian. The bowl was perfect! Absolutely delicious!

We had the Mahi Mahi street tacos which were delicious. The mango salsa and tomatillo aioli really tied the whole thing together. We also had the Philly cheese steak which was wonderful, I loved the chimichurri on it. Also the Au Jus it comes with is some of the best I've had. And to top it off the fries are well made.
