The setting is stunning, adding to the enjoyment of the delicious food and outstanding service. The variety of vegan options was a pleasant surprise and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience by discussing our preferences. I highly recommend this restaurant! What Stephanie Dodson doesn't like about The Spice Kitchen:
Ordered two shrimp curries. They came with five and six medium small. shrimp each. Normally a curry is very full of protein and this had a four dollar up charge for shrimp so I assumed it would as well. They were like bowls of thin soup with a few shrimp floating in it. It was very sad and definitely not worth $19. I might go back again for other dishes because of the great location but I really thought such a nice p... View all feedback.
We were taken here by our family who lives in parkers and who are very health-conscious (organic vegetarian/vegan). they eat here all the time. eating here is some of the best Indian foods that we have ever tasted, and we traveled all over the world, each dish can be made vegan by simply replacing cocos milk it is so easy. the dishes are also so tasteful. we loved it so much that we have eaten twice for our 5-day visit here. it is so wonderful to have a herbal corma that is vegan, and it was one of the best we have ever eaten. my only regret is that this restaurant is not closer to where we live in england. the service was amazing. it is a family restaurant, and our waiter was so friendly and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant for fantastic vegan food in parker, co. I tried to give this rating 5 stars, but that was only for full vegetarian restaurants that the only reason was forced to give it 4!
We had a terrible experience, and are quite sure that we were served here targeted non vegan food. first they forgot our drinks, which we had to ask about 30 minutes later. then they brought the wrong drink order. our food didn't come an hour later so we asked someone, and the person who took the job had never submitted it. we had to give up our order. we had no server that is assigned to our table, and instead everyone seemed to be serving all tabs, but not communicating. After 2 hours we got our food. I wanted to be sure they made it for the case vegan. sure enough they had forgotten to make it vegan and took it back. 10 minutes later they came back with our food, which was strange, and it looked like eating the same. my lactose intolerant husband became sick immediately after the symptoms he suffers when he is wrongly eating milk. I'm pretty sure they just reserved us the non- vegan eating. updated by previous review on 2019-07-16
We had a terrible experience, and are pretty sure we were purposely served non vegan food here. First they forgot our drinks which we had to ask about 30 minutes later. Then they brought the wrong drink order. Our food wasn’t coming an hour later so we asked someone, and the person who took the order had never submitted it. We had to place our order again. We did not have a server assigned to our table and instead everyone seemed to be serving all the tables, but not communicating with one another. After 2 HOURS we received our food. I asked to be sure they had made it vegan just in case. Sure enough they had forgotten to make it vegan and took it back. 10 minutes later they came back with our food which was strange, and it looked like the same food. My lactose intolerant husband got sick immediately after with the symptoms he suffers from when he mistakenly eats dairy. I am pretty sure they just re-served us the non vegan food. I will definitely eat here again when I am craving Indian Nepali food. The food was very tasty and I really enjoyed it. If you don’t know what to order, I would suggest the Chicken Biryani or the Chicken Tikka, both are very tasty. Happy eating!
The rave reviews are true! We love Indian food and didn't expect to find it on main street parker, but stumbling upon this restaurant last night resulted in our new fav spot for Indian. Everything was cooked to perfection...as soon as we scooped the fluffy rice on our plate we knew everything else would be good.Must get: garlic cheese naan, combo biryani. We also got the chicken Tikka masala and the lamb roghan josh, both amazing.Their spice level is 1-6. We love spice so we got everything 4-6, which was perfect.
