Best ice cream spot in a very long time. Got the 4 scoop sampler and had difficulty deciding what flavors to choose from sooo many options. Was not disappointed though. What Tee Zee doesn't like about Handel's Homemade Ice Cream:
I didn't like the taste of ice cream. It doesn't taste any better than leatherbys or Gunthers. It taste like the one you buy from grocery store. Dreyers tasted even better.Nothing beats Gunthers ice cream so far.In my opinion it's a waist of money buying from Handels when you can get grocery store ice cream that taste so much better. "Don't get me wrong, the drinks here are a definite 5 stars. However, what's keeping me from rating this place any more than 3 is their recent change where they do not accept cash anymore. I very much prefer the convenience of handing over some cash that I already have on me, opposed to having to use the money I've put aside for other uses in my bank account. If anyone who works here reads this review, please bring back the cash register and let me give ya'll a 10 dollar bill for my drink, and not waste my time taking a trip to the bank."

"Took my daughter here as she loves macaroons and we've been exploring different local bakeries. This is my first negative bakery review. The staff had a bad attitude, they seem to choose who is first in line, and their vibe was off-putting. The chocolate croissant was stale, and the coffee beans they used were subpar. There are friendlier places with better baked goods in Sac."
