"We arrived in Torano late on a Sunday evening and we were delighted to discover this restaurant was open. Not much English and my little Spanish but we managed to order food wine and beer. A waitress with some English was able to tell us what was on the menu. A delightful menu, I had veal with a cheese sauce with fries and my partner had a salmon salad with cheese which was equally delicious. A very reasonable place to eat in and would highly recommend it. Half way between Ribadesella and Arriondas it is on the main road and easy to spot. We will return again and again."

"The food was simple, tasty and well prepared. One of us ordered the 5 course Slow food option and the other an entree and main course. The pace of service was perfect, with neither of us ever sitting with an empty plate watching the other eat. Although the 5 course menu included a set desert, the wait staff offered a choice and two spoons so we could share. The staff were charming at all times. Small touches which make a restaurant memorable. Good wine list with wide range. We were happy to go again the following night, but thought we would give another restaurant a try, for something different."
