Very expensive place but nice atmosphere. Kind of worth the price but better to get as much sashimi and fresh fish as possible. Avoid the rolls so you don't get full. The special sashimi were very good. Suggest trying the raw prawn, wagyu beef, and yellowtail. View all feedback.
What Zejun Liu doesn't like about Osawa:
The food is okay. But the service is bad. They don’t even bother to offer me a water/Diet Coke refill, or at least checking in on me to see if I need anything. And in the end they ask for a 18% tip for a $200 bill. Should have a given them a 0 tip for the service instead of 18%! Meanwhile I can’t help but noticing they are extremely attentive to white customers, checking in on them all the time, offer them pieces of... View all feedback.
Reception girl very rude and purposely ignore clients.
This is one of my most favorite Japanese restaurants ever. The food is high quality. The price is reasonable. The vibe is mellow enough for you to absorb the taste of the food. The strength of this restaurant is that they are so well-round. Every dish they make is good, may it be fried dish, sushi, grilled fish, curry, you name it. The only downside is that they close too often lol. Update 2024/6/16: I visited the shop again after a year or so. Still busy and the food is amazing as always!
Sunday night dinner at 630pm. Made reservations. Found street parking but there's public parking around. Had uni pasta and bento box. Uni pasta was kind of bland.
Delicious quality sushi. Got the rainbow roll and the crunch roll, albacore volcano roll. Great quality
Shared some edamame, a salmon lover roll some sushi with my friend. Service was great and food was good too (uni was okay . Also got black sesame panna cotta for desserts and we liked that black sesame flavor was actually prominent but not too sweet :
