"Excellent customer service. Just had the new menu special there a few hrs ago $11 for chicken balls, rice, chicken chow mein,chicken soo guy with gravy,wontons and honey garlic spareribs. .yea right allllll that food .like a mini buffet on ur plate. .for 11 bucKS! !! Er u can even get the same however small amounts (junior size) for only $6! .can't beat that anywere!!!!mmmmm mmm soooooooo yummie..My hubby and I are still here talking about it. We cleaned our plates n for mw that's pretty rare...we were actually wishing we had left overs for later lol !!! :) all.the food was bursting with there own separate flavour. Soo guy .oh my the soo guy...perfectly well crispy and tender chicken fillet smothered in the yummiest gravy.n thr chow mean...love it with the cabbage!....perfectly crisp veggies ! Gosh we can't wait to go there again. My hubby is also very excited about going back n that is big for him.lol the sweetest staff there were fantastic. The owner came out with our food personally and greeted herself which showes she cares about her business by wanting to engage with her guests:) great job! For a place to fill ur tummies with a great selection of the best yummiest food, a great quantity and high quality at a low cost...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EAT HERE:)! we will be back soon! !!:)"

"Pappa Joes is our favourite place to stop when our for an evening stroll. It is usually crowded on hot days. however the wait to be served is worth it. Get this, they even offer ice cream in “Gluten Free” Cones!!Our dog Rocky also loves the soft serve ice cream as well so we let him finish off the bottom half of the cone or container."

"WOW! Freshest Cod n Chips I've ever had. Edna's batter is so light as well. Cute little patio with spectacular views. This restaurant is run by the owners (Edna and her hubby) from start to finish. Well worth the drive to Lark Harbour!"

"We recently visited the Oasis with friends and were very displeased with the service, food quality, and price. The bartenders/people who took our order at the counter were rude and made snarky comments, not friendly at all, and looked extremely unhappy to be there. The...food was all thrown in the same deep fryer, and by the looks of it, some of it looked to be deep fried twice. The wings were small and not much meat on them, the beach basket came with about 5 popcorn chicken pieces, 5 dried up wings, 6 double deep fried onion rings, and a mountain of soggy French fries. I understand it’s “convenient” because it’s the only restaurant on the beach/close by, and I don’t expect 5 star service at a beach joint, but this experience was exceptionally terrible. My advice: pack a lunch!"
