"WOW! Freshest Cod n Chips I've ever had. Edna's batter is so light as well. Cute little patio with spectacular views. This restaurant is run by the owners (Edna and her hubby) from start to finish. Well worth the drive to Lark Harbour!"

"We recently visited the Oasis with friends and were very displeased with the service, food quality, and price. The bartenders/people who took our order at the counter were rude and made snarky comments, not friendly at all, and looked extremely unhappy to be there. The...food was all thrown in the same deep fryer, and by the looks of it, some of it looked to be deep fried twice. The wings were small and not much meat on them, the beach basket came with about 5 popcorn chicken pieces, 5 dried up wings, 6 double deep fried onion rings, and a mountain of soggy French fries. I understand it’s “convenient” because it’s the only restaurant on the beach/close by, and I don’t expect 5 star service at a beach joint, but this experience was exceptionally terrible. My advice: pack a lunch!"

"We had the wings which were ok and the pizza which could have been better. We had heard that other menu items were much better, so I would recommend trying something other than the wings pizza."
