Your typical silog meal just got better with the tomato pesto side dish.
What Katheryn Wehner doesn't like about Kanto Freestyle Breakfast:
I love breakfast food, so I might be biased writing this. I had Vigan Longganisa for dinner. It was sumptuous and cooked just right. Same goes for the scrambled eggs. My friend was also happy with the New Zealand tapa. I'd go back here in a heartbeat! View all feedback.
Affordable Pinoy breakfast comfort food that is available 24/7, that tastes good too. We had difficulty though in locating the place as the signage is not too visible. Don't look for ambiance as the diner is in what looks like a garage of an old house.
If you are looking for an ordinary place with an extraordinary taste at a very reasonable price, Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is the place to be. Whenever you feel hungry at any time of the day, this is a 'go to place' as they have a 24H operation. Indeed, a gourmet experience at a lesser price. Place may be too over crowded at peak hours and you have to endure a long queue. Will I go back? Yes.
FOOD ????️ My wife and I ordered New Zealand beef tapa and Chicken longganisa. Both are okay dishes nothing really special. The longganisa felt a little bit like Jollibee for some reason. The tapa was a little salty but had enough flavor. For drinks, we had iced mocha and iced latte. My latte didn't taste good at all and I didn't finish it. It tasted very bland. I could've probably made a better one lol. SERVICE ????♂️ We waited for 45mins more or less for our food to come. Not sure why it took so long but wasn't happy to wait that long for something that you just fry. Also, they charge 10% service charge(!) while they don't even set the utensils for you and you need to call them for water refills. AMBIANCE ???? Simple carenderia style. The only pro is they have big industrial fans to cool the place.

Kanto in Kapitolyo is a small nondescript nook that happens to be well known. I ended up here with my spouse after an early morning wake up because we brought one of our kids to his hiking trip rendezvous. The breakfast menu is extensive and very tempting. Given our appetites were not in full gear yet, we went with the pan de sal, the bacon and mushroom omelette, and the chicken sausage. Overall it was a pleasant experience. We'll probably visit one of the other locations with the rest of the tribe. grabyourhelmett.blogspot.com
