"New menu is awful. Everything we had was terrible. Whether it was an updated recipe such as the ceviche or some thing new on the menu like the pork. Neither was good unfortunately. "We waited at the front of the line for 27 minutes while staff moved about and the line to order and be seated grow to over 20 people. At one point about 20 minutes in it was explained to us a large phone order came in and we had to wait. I'm glad Jeffry BBQ values its phone customer enough to delay taking in person orders by greater than 27 minutes. When we walked out after that 27 minutes without ordering, the line had dwindled to four people. Keep prioritizing phone orders Jeffry BBQ, I hope it works out. A really easy solution would be to take my order and 15 other people who walked out with the same terrible experience. What might have happened is my family and 15 others would have sipped on some drinks, had conversations without food, and patiently waited after the staff had explained there's a backup in the kitchen and put our food in queue. Our order is in place, we are happily seated, not fuming for 27 minutes and leaving bad reviews later. I hope the people on the phone take the time to leave some higher rated reviews to offset this terrible experience."

"My favorite speakeasy is 1122 in Paso Robles. You enter from the backstreet, and go through a secret library door. You are taken back in time. We sat at the bar and let our bartender make us one of their creative cocktails. I highly recommend 1122. It is small so make a reservation."
