"The staff were super welcoming and friendly and the food was tasty and a good price...I don't speak much Portuguese but was able to use my limited French as the lady speaks it so it worked out fine in the end!"

"This is a very modern looking, yet cosy restaurant in the small town of Lamas de Orelhão, near Mirandela. Food is excellent and there is a good choice of dishes. It's spacey and can easily harbour bigger families or groups. Most surprising to me was finding this restaurant in an area where one wouldn't expect to find a restaurant of this kind. Usually restaurants here are simple places where regional food is prepared and more intricate dishes are impossible to get nor would you expect that. The Rei d'Orelhão Restaurant makes you think you are dining in a larger city. Quality is high and portions are well measured. We had a dish that was supposed to be for two but could easily have served three. Very tasty and very well served."

"Discovered this place through a TV report My wife's family is from this region and so we decided to go for discovery This was the best idea for this holiday The place is really typical for the region and so is the food Great place We are used to this region and this restaurant is the best we did yet We absolutely recommend not only the restaurant but also the very small village 5 stars"
