Cute little shop.
Refreshingly old school. Fresh farm bread and jams from the area.
Best freshly baked bread ever.
Lots of variety and nostalgic goods. Nice coffee garden. Goods are a bit pricey. Competitive prices would get them 5 stars.
They have anything you may need. Nice selection of local wines, brownies are delicious. Worth a pop in you may be surprised.

"Had an amazing experience woman's day with mom and my sisters. Friendly peeps, very cozy environment. The food was amazing and very generous portions too!!! I cant remember when last I had such fresh seafood. This place is amazing guys! You won't regret it. If you love seafood as much as I do, you'll think again before buying any fish or seafood back home in C. T. I'm definitely coming back here on my next trip to the west coast. Keep up the great service, and thank you for your warmth and friendliness"

"A fabulous enjoyable lunch with my family. We would highly recommend this restaurant. All our meals were outstanding the oysters where the best I’ve ever tasted. The seafood dish, pasta, pork belly and Ganard (fish) were all delicious and the owner and waiter welcomed our well behaved pets. Thank you for a memorable time. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"Last minute decision to dip. good decision. beautiful setting. almost on the beach. had a drink and just sat and enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere. beautiful background music. limited menu, but interesting options. relax. a lot of fun. Edit: so, it appears the gaaaitjie has different menus for different days. we jumped in 2 days later, just to be greeted with a whole different menu! wow, what a menu. had an amazing hake keile plus salat. absolutely delicious! great service! perfect setting. note: lunchtime sitting kitchen last order at 14h00. closes 14h30. kitchen opens later to dinner. only one note from gaaaitjie management: Thursday to Monday the latest seats at 14:00 o'clock, and last food orders are at 14:30 o'clock. then we don't close. afterwards they can still sit and we are open all day from 12:00 to 22:00 for drinks."
