I'm looking forward to a great dinner, but I was disappointed. I had the trout that was well prepared, but came cold. She had to ask to reheat. Compared to other restaurants in the area, there are drinks. View all feedback.
The food is delicious and cheap. Meals are served in a courtyard that is welcoming and warm. I would eat here again and recommend it to my friends.

This restaurant has recently reopened and we decided to review it for Palm Sunday dinners. What a surprise. The staff is attentive without disturbing. The menu includes a variety of local dishes such as Sopa Tarasca, Uchepos and Corundas. The soup had a tomato base and was not as beany as many local varieties. The deserts were exceptional, including a chocolate Trufa with berries and crepes with cajeta and berry sauce. The espresso was excellent. Definitely a great find for local dishes with moderate prices and a full Liquor menu.

We didn't stay in the hotel, so the ranking is only for the restaurant. I'm a graduate student from el DF and very critical about restaurant quality and service, and this restaurant experience was one of the best I've had since traveling around central and southern Mexico and trying foods both in restaurants and in the street. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. My boyfriend (also from DF) and I ate there every morning during my 4-day stay for Día de los Muertos. It offered many options, including fresh fruit and juice, great coffee, soft bread, corundas, huevos con salchicha, bacon (tocino) chilaquiles, frijoles: all for 90 pesos. The food is amazing, but the part I appreciated most was the friendly service. The manager and waiters seem to enjoy their job and want customers to have a nice restaurant experience. They're completely attentive. Plus, the restaurant environment is beautiful and it's a very pleasant dining experience. We wish we could eat there everyday. Highly recommendable.
