We came to make an aperitif at 12:30. They tell us that given the time, they don't give any more snacks, I wonder if we had to come for breakfast time to do it....

"We reserved dinner a La Torre degli Aquila based on the excellent reviews and their claim of being vegetarian friendly . However, when we arrived and saw their menu posted near the door, we noticed that every item featured either meat or seafood. We entered and before being seated asked about options available for vegetarians. There were three employees at the counter one rolled her eyes at me and another quickly shook her head. An older woman (the owner? was also present and said they could offer us pasta pomodoro (pasta with tomato sauce, the most basic meal possible in Italy and in my opinion not worthy of a dinner out at a restaurant . I objected to their claim of being vegetarian friendly and for unfathomable reasons the owner kept repeating that they did not offer VEGAN options. We had never requested vegan options just a meal that did not contain meat or seafood: something suitable for vegetarians. I told the owner her claim of being vegetarian friendly was exaggerated and we left before being seated. A truly miserable experience."

"Really nice cosy place where it feels like home. The staff members are really accommodating and know how to give good suggestions. The food was marvelous; I especially loved the sweet and sour duck, was tender on the inside, crispy on the outside (pineapple was a nice touch). The jasmine tea was really nice as well. I would highly recommend"
