We stopped here for lunch and the place definitely has a small town charm. There is a great playground for children with many toys and books. The menu is clearly marked with things that can be made vegan (or gluten-free). My toddler loved the vegan cheese quesadillas and homemade apple sauce, and my husband liked the vegan burger. I had the veggie reuben with vegan cheese. Unfortunately, the dressing was not vegan, so the sandwich was a bit simple. It probably wouldn't order again. There were 4 types of vegan ice cream to choose, and the Mocha chocolate bowl we shared was great. Overall, this place was worth the stop, and I appreciate the many vegan options from which there was to choose from.
My friend just told me about this restaurant, which is randomly an hour away from my home. We often travel this direction for football matches, so now I have a place I want to stop at A LOT! I had the vegan stuffed sandwich that I would rather call a calzone because I spiced the pizza. It was phenomenal! My mother got the vegan reubs and said it was pretty good. I can't wait to stop again every time I pass Paw Paw, Michigan. Your online menu displays 17 items that can be made vegan. 17! You also have real meat items to make my children happy. We finished our meals with ice cream soy for my mother and I and the right thing for my daughter. Also the women were very friendly. While we were there, it was 10 minutes before closing and a family came in. They sat and helped without any indication that they were closed. Great customer service!
What a find! This ice salon and café has more vegetarian options than many restaurants near Kalamazoo. Your menu clearly reveals what can be made vegan and gluten-free. They also have an allergy list for any dish and ice cream taste. It is a great place to bring both omnivores and vegans. I had a veggie quesadilla with a gluten-free tortilla. It was average in taste and portion size. They have 4 flavors of so delicious ice cream that I had brought with Oreos into a milkshake. The mini size is perfect! I can't expect to go back to a sandwich and soup or local opes products. My server did not seem familiar with the vegan and gluten-free items on the menu, but it ensured to check everything with the kitchen and was very friendly.
This is a charming little town ice cream shop that also serves vegetarian dishes. Fun decorations on the walls and ceiling. Play board games while you wait. Free Wi-Fi. Like I wish there was an ice cream shop like this when I was a kid. In addition to regular ice cream, they offer 3 vegan flavors. You have a meat menu and a HUGE vegetarian menu. Veggie BLTs, stir fry, veg chicken patties, envelopes, Quinoa Burito, Veggie Dogs, Veggie Burger, a hummus grilled cheese, Quesadillas, the list goes on and on. Never give up a Veggie reub, I went with it and it was not disappointed. It was very busy when I left, but the staff treated the amount w/o a problem. To see a restaurant like this blooming in the small town, America puts a smile on my face. I will definitely be back the next time I have to drive I-94 through Michigan. It's easy to find. Exit No. 60 from I-94. It's at the corner of Muffler Man, the state police.
Brought my nieces and nephew in here last month for a lunch stop.
