The Cellar Door Cafe - PAYNEDALE

Visited here for lunch and a wine tasting on a glorious Saturday in July. The owners were happy to accommodate our fussy kids and the food was delicious! As an added bonus the wines were some of the best we have ever had. Will definitely be stopping by again!

We came across this winery/cafe driving the back road to Capel from Donnybrook. What a gem - hidden off the main road and over looking the Capel River is this small winery - we tasted all their wine (12) and they were great - never been to a winery before where I liked all the wines! We had a gourmet pizza and nibbles plate for lunch with a glass (or two) or their Sauv Blanc and Cabernet Shiraz. We also had to have a coffee and gf cake before moving on. The food, the wine and the owners have worked hard to make this a memorable stop. We are now on the mailing list, and going back again - best in Donnybrook. Ted and Alice.

I won the Yelp competition for a family pass to Truffle Kerfuffle so we made the road trip down to Manjimup.
