Sushi and service was amazing! The prices were super reasonable for the quality of food and the service was quick! They did accidentally charge us for soup that was included with the hibachi meal but they were able to correct it. View all feedback.
What Trevor Smith doesn't like about No. 1 Sushi Pearl River:
Avoid this place.Nice seating, friendly waiters, BUT....The sushi was imitation meat, the spicy tuna was just a rice flavored tuna mush, and the toppings weren't fishy at all.The unlimited sushi is definitely fishy... pun intended.Avoid and go to a different location and restaurant all together. The sushi tasted weird. Even the spicy mayo had an oily overtone that didnt adhere to the sushi. Im really not sure what i was eating. This is the second time I ordered 3 rolls but a forth of something I didn't ask for was given to me. I see this places m.o is to force you to buy the all you can eat price. I dont appreciate that because i just came for a short dinner on my way home.. My Sapporo beer was as warm and flat as the sushi was. Warm beer is another thing i dont play around with. I wont be back and I certainly Don't recommend. Don’t waste your time and your money there. try the one in Nanuet
I am very upset with the food quality. My husband and I went there for All You Can Eat $30.95 per person). We ordered special roll sushi but all it tastes like imitation meat.Especially, the topping on sushi, you can see on my pictures. It is such a huge amount of topping, its almost the same size as sushi. It makes you full very quickly and its taste like a fake filler like flavored flour. We could not finish all of them. Anyway, it was bad experience for me, we will never go there again.

Went here for AYCE they offered us the corner booth, which was probably a mistake, because once it got busy, they forgot all about us back there. My boyfriend had to order his dessert from two different waitresses, and he still never ended up getting it. Waitresses were helping the tables surrounding us, but rarely came to our table. The food was great otherwise (the gyoza Angry Dragon Roll were delicious! , but once it got busier, the service was severely lacking. I've been to the Midland Park location and never had this issue, so was disappointed since this location is closer to me.
