We discovered this gem of a shop on a recent trip to Mystic. Not a restaurant, not a delicatessen not a wine bar in the traditional sense. Just an inviting place to indulge in top quality charcuterie, cheeses, small plates an excellent selection of wines. What A J doesn't like about Block And Bottle:
Maybe this place needs more time to get off the ground. We were a small group. The cheese plate had a nice selection of local cheeses. . The beet salad was uncooked and I had to return it. The sardines and octopus came in the cans. Yes I couldn't believe it..idk if this was some new age thing or the chef got confused but right in the can! The wine was good. The waiter was very nice.
