"First its not a “taberna” its more like a bistro or standard WeSt European restaurant according to the menu. I guess its a Dutch or Belgium Chef/owner in kitchen. The place and ambiance are fantastic. The waiter is too much in a hurry, although he continue forget items or to explain what he is serving. (We ordered the Surprise 5 course menu €48) the other waitress doesn’t speak at all. Just puts the drinks or food on table and leaves. The main waitress (i guess owner) is friendly. The food, honestly they’ve tried, but as said before wasn’t expecting west europe cuisine at this place, so we were not impressed at all. The tartar of tuna okay, but the seaweed no add value in the recipe. The scallops were really nice. The Burrate too cold and our tip is use better olives eg Kalamata instead of the cocktail olives used. Main dish a sirloin of dear, not really something for the time of the year. The dessert was a mixture of everything and a little bit chaotic served. Whipped cream with this weather is a nog go.... also scoops of icecream (taste was very good) on a plate will melt in 1-3 minutes. As the title said; we’ve expected more...."

"The most amazing food ever tried. Highly recommended, wild boar and deer dishes are a must to try here, aubergine on fire and octopus with mush potatoes also. There's good wine for that gorgeous food. Svetlana, the chef, is coking all her dishes amazingly and you definitely must try her food, you'll thank me later. The restaurant is not fancy, but is clean and full every weekend. The staff is more than helpful and very friendly."

"The only reason this restaurant is getting 3 stars is the food. Otherwise it would be a lot less. We went for the gastro bar menu which meant we were seated in the front of the restaurant in the high stool tables. When we asked to sit at one of the inside tables we were told it was for the tasting menu only, even though they stayed empty even at 10pm when we left. There was little to no atmosphere, sat under a bright spotlight with only one other couple initially. It felt awfully quiet and we were nearly whispering trying to talk to each other. The food was 4/5 stars and the only reason it was not 5/5 was the menu. I had the prawns in olive oil which came out raw. The menu didn't state it was raw and I couldn't eat it, thankfully my partner ate it so it didn't go to waste. He had the bluefin tartare which was beautiful. For mains I had the fillet beef but wasn't asked how I would like it cooked. I like more rare steak which was how it was served but I feel a preference should have been asked. The other main was the lamb shank which was lovely. For dessert we had the cheesecake but again the menu didn't state what kind, you either had to ask or hope for the best. The service was less than stellar. Considering we were one of 3 tables in the whole restaurant during most of the meal, no one checked in during any course on our table even though they were actively going around to the others. We left feeling as though we were second class guests despite paying over €130 for our meal and a bottle of wine. Overall very disappointing, cold and sterile. I wouldn't go back again for the prices they are charging or the service being provided. It is the first time in a long time we have not left a tip."
