"The place hasn't been very well maintained. There were spider webs on the ceiling. It's an Italian restaurant but they served powdered parmesan cheese. The service was good and it was quiet. I had the pazza ivana and it was delicious."

"Valley is the best secret, but not really! We had tried to get reservations here for a few months after learning about it, was good persistent! The charm and atmosphere in this little restaurant was amazing, paired with one of the best dinners we had in a very long time. The service and friendliness of this fine restaurant was so refreshing, it will be a way for our guests outside the city, even if we live in the old town NOTL!"

"My husband and I had an incredible experience at RPM this past weekend. We both thoroughly enjoyed vegetarian and vegan versions of the tasting menu along with wine pairings but what really stood out were the staff they are all incredible. Thank you to the RPM team for saving us when we were unexpectedly stranded on site. I don’t even have the words to describe how grateful we are!"

"Came here as a secondary place with a group of friends, one of them is a regular here. Eat food because we had already had dinner elsewhere and just came for some drinks. I've got to say, the food that was coming out of that kitchen looked and smelled amazing! We were there for quite a while to the point where we needed to drink some coffee to get over our adult drinks. So we ordered something called cannoli pie... Oh my goodness! This was the most sinful pie I've ever had! I will be careful not to order it again as I feel like it could become a very serious addiction! Definitely a must try at least once in your life though, it was absolutely spectacular! Will definitely be coming back to sample some of the many daily specials they have!"

"Phoned for a reservation and spoke with the owner who duly informed me of her pandemic rules…and what followed was a straightforward insight into the trials and tribulations of running a pub in unprecedented times, and the frustrations of facing those who would willingly endanger...others. I really enjoyed the person on the other end of the phone. I had a good feeling about the experience to come. Granted, I had been to this quaint, small pub nestled in the small town of Fenwick. It is an area of pastoral beauty, rolling hills and the Niagara regions original soft fruit farms. It makes sense that Fenwick/Pelham would have such a pub as its history of British Empire Loyalists is a long one. The last time I had been there it was with my sons, and it was to have their famous burger….which did not disappoint. This time I took my wife. Well, a nicer spot for late summer, casual, late afternoon meal you could not find. We were seated outside on the patio, in the shade of a very, very old tree. Our server was as direct, forthright and funny as the owner…and excellent at her job. If I was to call what we were served “pub grub” it would be a grave disservice. We shared a traditional shrimp cocktail, and sriracha maple syrup wings to start…which we shared. The wings were outstanding…but beware…they have a kick. My wife had the roast beef sandwich served on a baguette with onions and mushrooms and a horseradish mustard. She loved it. I couldn’t abandon the burger which is simply the best burger I’ve had in Canada….despite the pull of the artisanal selection of macaroni and cheese which I must have next time. The fries, which both sandwiches were served with, were easily the best either of us have had for a while. Clearly hand cut, likely double fried…superb. It was a date night choice that left us with smiles on our faces, and a determination to take the whole family soon. It’s that good!!!"
