I would like to thank Jackson S. from Applebees in Pella Iowa for a great meal and fantastic service. We visited Pella to celebrate our 25th anniversary weekend and had no very good experience with the other restaurants in the area. What Preston Buckridge doesn't like about Applebee's Grill Bar:
I've had fairly good experiences here and then mediocre ones. Last night, wifey met me for dinner and we tried to be fancy like Applebee's on a date night. We felt pretty rushed from the get go on ordering and then the check dropped a couple of bites into our food. Definitely felt an unwelcome vibe. We were able to be seated immediately at the bar and were greeted right away for our drink orders.

The best Applebee's in the country.You can't beat the atmosphere. The service is the best you can get.

"I love the chill vibe and found the staff to be super nice. Easy parking. The patio on a nice day is a fantastic place to spend some time. As with all bars like this, you have to be ready to test some number of beers to find you preference or rely on a chat with the bartenders and their recommendations. The recommended beer I got was didn't work for me so I moved the review down a star. Root beer was good, but not crazy good. Overall, this is a good place to visit with some friends and relax."
