Just an occasional visitor to Pembroke, but alway manage to make New Star my place to visit for Chinese food. Lots of parking. A charming and efficient owner. In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come guests with wheelchairs or physiological disabilities.

The food is delicious at New Star but the atmosphere isn’t so great. I was a bit disappointed that with the Covid shut down, they wouldn’t have taken the opportunity to sink some money into revamping the interior. It’s dingy.
