"This was our first time in the newport restaurant to eat and what a wonderful experience it was. the location on the tay is fantastic with magnificent view over the skyline of the city dundee. we have eaten a Friday night and get the tasting menu. this is by far my preferred type to enjoy a meal, so many aromen and so many experiences in a meal. the team was so professional and friendly, it felt very like we were regularly in the restaurant. they also offer a children's menu and hope to come with them some time for lunch. a great thanks to jamie and his brilliant team to make it an unforgettable evening."

"….. visiting Llys. I’ve stayed here a few times and always look forward to it. The welcome from all the staff, fantastic salmon at breakfast, cocktails in the garden before a fantastic “Tom’s” Sunday lunch. Sad to leave but looking forward to my next visit....Thank you all so much."

"Busy when we visited but was able to accommodate us and the dogs. Food was plentiful and tasty. Service was friendless and efficient. View was out over the sea. Would have been nice to have water offered for the dogs."

"Friendly staff. I have been coming to the area since 2014 and since discovering Yasmins have had a take away every time i visit so Moonlight had something to live up to. I was not disappointed, the food was fresh and tasty and the portions sizes were good. It would be good to see the restaurant grow and establish itself as did its predecessor. Service: Take out"

"We visited here today for the first time ..regulars in aberporth as we have a caravan here....first visit was great an amazing homemade cheese and ham quiche ...mini donuts and coffees ..sat in a quaint and warm little beach hut..we will definetly visit again soon x"

"Had an average panini bacon and Brie today. Quite easily could have made better at home. No effort in presentation and the accompanying coleslaw was tasteless and lots of water in the bottom of the small dish it was served in. Crisps we’re nice tho : Asked if there was changing facilities to change my 5 month old baby and was told there was a mat in the toilet and that I could change him on the floor in the toilet or on the toilet seat itself. Safety and hygiene was not considered by the staff member I spoke to. (Not 100% sure but seemed to be more in charge so possibly owner or manager, not very friendly person . Wasn’t welcomed or greeted when we entered or when we went up to order. Simple hello, how are you? Too much to ask. On a positive the lady who bought our food out to us was lovely and made time to speak to us all. Shame as the place itself was nice.l and was looking forward to a nice lunch and a matter with a friend. Have given one star as no stars wasn’t allowed."
