This little gem The Square and Compass is a delight. Wonderful welcome. Accommodation is very clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast. We stayed on to enjoy the Sunday Calvary and oh my what a treat. Piping hot. Totally mouth watering and very enjoyable. Especially...the honeycomb cheesecake. Highly recommend. we called to eat something on Wednesday september, but found a statement that the kitchen was closed, so you had to go elsewhere. we called again on Saturday afternoon, shortly before and after the barman served all I asked if we could book later in the evening. the barman said he was not sure if she cooks tonight, so we should ring later. I found all this quite unwilling, so it wasn't disturbing. disappointed read more.
