"Hubby surprised me with an evening meal at The Brewery Inn to celebrate Valentine's Day. From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted by the staff and also by the owner, The waitress, Lily, she introduced herself, was very helpful as I have allergies but she reassured me that the chef would be informed of my allergies. The food was without doubt the best we have ever eaten. Hubby had the Black Pudding Scotch Egg, followed by the Sea Bass with Red Onion and Chorizo on a bed of new potatoes. To finish he had the White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake with a Raspberry sauce. I had half a rack of Ribs which came with Chips, Coshslaw. I also ordered a side of Onion Rings, followed by the White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake. The food was served pretty quickly , it has hot, properly cooked and tasted amazing. Please pass on our gratitude to all the staff, especially to the chef. We would definitely recommend you to all our friends and family."

"The food was ok, just. Waitress staff were obviously busy but to be honest the food was cold, which is not great seeing as we had prawns mussels and lobster. We also had sea bream which was the highlight, acceptably hot, fresh and tasty. I am sure we just picked a bad night, I know the owner was away but we expected better. I think an investment in a food thermometer would be a good idea. Service: Dine in"

"Great night with friends in the penthouse apartment. bright, spacious and comfortable. really clean and beautifully furnished. friendly helpful owner and coworkers from booking to welcome at the arrival and loved the finishing touches like free bottle fizz, bottle water, tea coffee and biscuits in the room. breakfast and eating in the cafe bar was lavish and beautiful atmosphere in general. it was great. will return definately. thanks to liz and staff"

"Visiting from Australia had a wonderful time in the pub. The barman TIM was outstanding in his service, round of applause. Homemade food was excellent, ate there 3 days in a row! Chips to die for. We would recommend to anyone visiting. Dogs well looked after, given lots of treats."

"Hadn’t been here for since last year as the last couple of times food was very dry and well under par . Went last night on way home from work at 7.30, we had been looking forward to our favourite place Mr Chips all day, but for some reason it had closed early. I thought maybe Rowlies had improved so would give it another go but Nope it was awful, actually felt sick after eating it. Fish was slimy, grey, tasteless and undercooked, batter was soggy and way too much, chips tasted like they had been repeatedly cooked . Will certainly not be returning, especially after the last time I rang them to let them know how poor it was and the girl who answered just said ‘Ok, thankyou’ . I would rather go without ."
