without booking, had a nice brat bark meat dinner with roast veg, kartoffeln and yorky pud. it was excellent, really delicious and the part was right for me. who likes a big part could think it was too small? I really enjoyed it, service was great and price was also not bad. would go back and recommend View all feedback.
What Alison R doesn't like about The Swan Inn:
We were looking forward to glass of cider on a sunny day. None available on tap, bottles only. The guys behind the bar didn’t offer a decent alternative or appear interested in serving us. Went to the St.Bride’s instead. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers fantastic beer served by the owner who has been there for a long time. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with dogs allowed and tasty bar snacks available. It is a must-visit for those who enjoy comfortable sofas, cozy fires, and beach views. During high tide, it is only about 10 steps from the sea to the bar.
Friendly staff, great service, great fresh ales, amazing interior, superb location…light food menu looked amazing, new ideas, was only a quick visit, need to return soon…
This is newly reopened under new management. Lovely pub. Stripped back but lots of period character. A few ales in. Food menu is interesting and different. Not standard pub grub. Would definitely recommend. But the location is amazing. If you’re passing in Summer it’s a must stop!
If you find yourself in the area, you must visit this restaurant. It offers the perfect combination of cozy and stylish ambiance, making it suitable for both romantic evenings and family gatherings. The warm fires and stunning views, situated on the edge of a charming little bay, make it a truly inviting place to be. I could have easily spent the whole day here. The welcoming owners and their family are exceptional hosts.
Great to pop in for a drink after a walk on the beach
