"A beautiful, authentic pousada, one of the nicest we' ve been to. The public parts ,including the bar, the hall and all the areas leading to the rooms in the main building are really impressive, as well as the magnificent view of the hills from the rooms.The rooms themselves are a bit of a disappointment, quite old fashioned and outdated, and this forms some contradiction between the rooms and all the rest. Dinner ,too, was not the best we had in Portugal , to say the least.Over priced, for an ordinary food, and one dish- the partrige, which was a disaster- couldn't be eaten. The compensation ,though, was sipping Portonic in the bar, for a very reasonable fare. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 5"
