"A nice clean place, great food, and friendly staff. The Worston Whale, is positively the largest battered fish, that I've ever eaten. I've gone past this place many times, but previously never stopped. I would certainly recommend a visit to here."

"I’m begrudgingly writing this review, as once you have been it’s the kind of place you want to be your best kept secret!! From the moment you step through the door you’re met by a young vibrant, enthusiastic (but not over the top) team. The menu is perfectly balanced and not overwhelming. We were lucky enough to be sat downstairs close to the well organised hustle and bustle of the kitchen, the atmosphere was great. Every dish that left the kitchen looked amazing. Just for the record I shared the mushrooms and Calamari for starters and had the Lamb kebabs.. all of which were amazing. Congratulations to all involved in this venture you have delivered an unpretentious friendly dining experience, which leaves you wanting to come back for more. The only downside to the venue is that I don’t live close enough!!"

"My view of this particular eaterie is only enhanced with every visit. No doubt in my mind (for what it’s worth! that this is one of the finest Indian restaurants in Yorkshire..if not the finest…and it’s not just South Asian dishes that you can find here…it does some popular lines in Mongolian, Burmese and Cambodian as well as other cuisines. There’s a depth to the taste that suggests that Sid’s chefs really do know what they are doing… and each dish uses only the freshest ingredients, often as garnish, which only adds to the character and crunch of each of the many dishes I’ve tasted on my many visits there. You rarely find those new dimensions in taste and flavour. Those moments need to be cherished and Curry Corner provides more than its fair share of them. Always a treat!!"

"Went with a few friends and admittedly was a bit loud and maybe our language wasn’t the best but we have now all been slated all over Facebook saying we was abusive and intimidating towards staff when we wasn’t at all, we was never asked...to leave which I think we would have been if we was as bad as they’re making us out to be, just think it’s very unprofessional to slate us all over Facebook! Do not recommend at all, boring people who need to learn to have a laugh!"

"Got told about this place by a friend and thought it sounded good so we booked for the other Sunday and my wife and I went over and it was fantastic, great place, a proper hidden gem, live music and she was brilliant sorry don’t know who she was food amazing and staff absolutely fantastic. We had a few dishes from Ribs, Wings, Duck, Garlic Prawns, Spring Rolls and they were all cooked to perfection, places like this are hard to find outside of big cities like Manchester but whomever has bought this place and made it into this great eatery needs a pat on the back. I’m a big believer in a good place to eat needs to be visited again to make sure that we didn’t just get a lucky meal so we have just returned for an early tea and again the food was outstanding, the waitress was really nice, very chatty and very efficient In taking order and getting drinks but also looked after us all meal, the food was even BETTER than the first time we went so I can only say if you get chance then go, we have told loads of people about this place and cannot wait to return with friends, we’ll done Holcombe Tap and the staff you have a brilliant place to come and enjoy great food."

"Visited at the weekend for the second time. Fabulous platter, brilliant atmosphere and the staff, especially the young man serving us, were so bright and cheerful and nothing was too much. Took a doggie bag home and even that was wrapped and packaged really lovely. Highly recommend and will certainly be visiting again...10/10..."
