"A nice clean place, great food, and friendly staff. The Worston Whale, is positively the largest battered fish, that I've ever eaten. I've gone past this place many times, but previously never stopped. I would certainly recommend a visit to here."

"My view of this particular eaterie is only enhanced with every visit. No doubt in my mind (for what it’s worth! that this is one of the finest Indian restaurants in Yorkshire..if not the finest…and it’s not just South Asian dishes that you can find here…it does some popular lines in Mongolian, Burmese and Cambodian as well as other cuisines. There’s a depth to the taste that suggests that Sid’s chefs really do know what they are doing… and each dish uses only the freshest ingredients, often as garnish, which only adds to the character and crunch of each of the many dishes I’ve tasted on my many visits there. You rarely find those new dimensions in taste and flavour. Those moments need to be cherished and Curry Corner provides more than its fair share of them. Always a treat!!"

"It is over 40years since we last stepped into the Alma Inn and a lot has changed to be honest I don't remember it from then, but we decided to go out for lunch and as we only live about 10mins away now thought we would try it, we were not disappointed a very warm welcome greeted us we were asked if we were staying for lunch and got our drinks first, the food was lovely very well presented and tasted great trust me it will not be another 40 years before we revisit I think The Alma will be a regular place to dine, oh And did I mention the views what a spot 365 deg. Views of the fabulous countryside both Yorkshire and Lancashire.......fabulous ......"

"That is the best decision we have made this year. we have seen that the good reviews on social media also wanted to try. simply booked table for 2 to . the personal was our first impression. very nice restaurant. even boss mann came by to have a chat while we waited. but the best part is eating! it loved only empty teller left our tables. we'll be back in the future. very grateful for the service. well done"

"When you are visiting a new area for the first time and friends who are on the trip with you rely on you to find interesting places to eat that is when the challenge starts. Just before you get into the popular tourist resort of Hebden Bridge on the road from Halifax is a place with a weird sounding name Mytholmroyd. But look out for the Bar and Tapas a bright facade and there you will find one of the best tapas bars for miles around. You are given a large paper menu and just tick the huge variety of tapas you would like to taste. We had between four of us and it was just about the right amount. Try the slow cooked shredded lamb and the Shetland king scallops in particular. There is also a veg paella and a fish curry also worth trying. Service was excellent and the owner, who has been there ten years, was particularly welcoming and helpful."

"Great curry. in cornholme, on the main road from todmorden to burnley, is the Indian restaurant zaika. this is a small and inconceivable restaurant that produces great authentic curry to very cheap trips. we love the samosa £2.10,) almost an eat in themselves! Favourite curry is rogan josh £4.50,) and after eating it maybe 10 times we can confidently say it is prepared for a consistently high standard. they also make a large peshwari nan £1.70) a filling and delicious 2 curs meal can be highly recommended for less than £10. 5 9/10's awarded by the lancashire evening telegraph. open dos sun 5:30 clock 11:30 clock."

"My favourate gastronomic retreat. One meal i particularly like is for starters- Green lipped mussels in a chilli sauce. Followed for main course by Sweet and sour mixed meat special with fried rice. Lots if others to. Excellent food cooked by chef and owner Raymond Chan. And the perfect host to greet you also the owner Carole chan. Not forgetting the young ladies waiting on. Always a warm welcome"
