"Our monthly visit at nelson, carla and crew has produced another food to remember! I usually don't describe eating but last night was so delicious I must share. beautiful olives, beautiful brote lebe light and carefully cooked then diced and served in...white wine, garlic and what tasted a little like honey plus a bit very light vinegar guesses over ingred but tasty! fois gras served with something over toasted date toasties the overroasting added a brilliant taste! espada fishfilets in teig washed with one of nelson's enormous and inexpensive tintos. they would be challenged to find a tasty and better presented meal everywhere in Europe. Price/quality ratio is rooted in this beautiful restaurant! thanks to nelson and crew!"

"Came here for dinner on Sunday evening and was told that they shut at 7pm, so we had to be there at 5.30pm. It is in a lovely location, overlooking the beach and it was sunny so it was very busy. We managed to get a table on the veranda and we’re then told that they only had sea bass, sea bream and another fish available and no other fish or shellfish, which was a little disappointing. However the waiter suggested we have a large sea bass for 2 which would have more meat on it, which we did, also having some squid rings as a starter with the vinho verde suggested. The wine and food were lovely. The total cost came to €72 for 2 of us, which is okay."
