We chose to come to that place considering all those nice reviews I read) Food was OK level, but it took them more then an hour to prepare our order, and the restaurant was 3/4 empty. Finally I end up leaving this place hungry, not been able to enjoy the food probably I had a bit too high expectations) View all feedback.

Lovely place with great food and polite and helpful service. Delicious tapas and desserts. Aa plus, the toilets are new and clean. Recommended, a bit outside the noise and crowd of the evenings in Praia da Rocha.
We had family visit from Lisbon so checked website for menu. As we had been here before, we were looking forward to it. On seeing the menu, it did not have a number of dishes such as sardines and fish espetadas (which I had previously really enjoyed and was the main reason for our visit). The waiter said, oh yes the website needs updated. The fish dishes on offer were nearly all priced by the kilo making it almost impossible for you to know what you will pay. We therefore mostly took meat dishes and the one dry fish dish was 28.50. Overall a disappointing experience. The staff however were attentive and very pleasant, not their fault.
Genuine local fish dishes in a simple environment. Long waiting times, better to book in advance. We had the typical Cataplana de Mariscos with sea bass shrimps, clamps, mussels, half little lobster, 3 pieces of sea bass and crab with a mix of potatoes, peppers, oil, spices and coriander. A lovely food experience!
We saw people enjoying the pot of fish stew as we walked past the window and was instantly lured in… waddled out so content. Delicious fresh seafood. Thank you Felipe, you looked after us and the experience was one for the memory book
