one of the best brunchspots in midlothian. eating was great, the environment beautiful and perfect for a walk in the countryside to go some of their hearty meals! it has a £3 car parking fee, which is a little annoying if they only eat there, but it is a small price to pay and if they can take time to enjoy the park at the same time, then it is worth it! Food was not great quality, pretty sure the Mac and cheese was out of a packet, tinned salmon for the nicoise salad and had to pay extra for eggs, makes it not a nicoise salad. Vegan option very dry, could have done with a lot more sauce and sweet potato, service was slow, waitress just standing around whilst we were waiting to order. View all feedback.
