"This could be so much more. The interior gives the feel of being in an English pub/bar along a canal. It's nice to look out the windows at people (and cranes) walking along the Outlet trail. We didn't eat, just having beer and wine. Prices were good, but selection was not. No local wines or beers, which was surprising given the region. Server was friendly and doing her best."

"The Chicken Pesto sandwich with red pepper and spinach is my ultimate fav here, it tastes like it was grilled outdoors! The homemade fries taste like boardwalk fries, and they have vinegar available, yum! (Please note I ate a lot of the piping hot fries before I thought to take a pic. The Tavern is exactly as described, a tavern so pick a song on the fancy juke box and settle in for a beer."

"I went here with my daughter on a Tuesday morning. Nice old school dine. It was pretty busy but not crazy. We were told to sit where ever we liked, so we sat at the counter. We had a front row seat by a flatop and watched the cook making orders! The waitress asked us about drinks and brought them back pretty fast. The food was Great as was the service. We definitely will be going back when I am in Penn Yan."

"We are here every time we're in the area, and every food was incredible!! They are so skillful and intentional in their pairing of unique tastes and textures. They are also aware and take care of food allergies (gluten-free, etc.). They are very popular and have limited hours, so reservations are recommended"

"Only problem is communication on the phone. I was told that there were two seats on Mother's Day when I arrived, they told me they served 11 to 3. So we arrived early from Ontario New York and drove around for an hour and thought we couldn't sit down to three, which wasn't true. confusing! Our waitress was the best ever, I wish I could remember her name, I know she had two daughters, I think they also work there. She was amazing."

"Lake setting, it can get cold if your sitting outside on the deck, have a sweater or light jacket handy, but if you enjoy sunset, bring a date or family and friends. Meals are big portions and have a bar upstairs, it can get loud but hip restaurant and big menu listing, if your hungry have an empty stomach, i had a bowl of clam chowder with corn, very good size bowl. The only negative that i witness is those darn bugs flying annoying!"

"This place is easy to drive by as it does not look like much from the outside but they have great hotdogs, homemade sausages, and hamburgers with numerous toppings and ways to order them. They have beer, wine, and liquor. Their service is great, they are very welcoming, and our lunch was delicious! A fun place. I discovered that goat cheese was a wonderful creamy compliment to my spicy chorizo sausage. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!"
