My brother took me for a birthday lunch here and I was amazed. Don't expect silver service, but do expect the best seafood at a very reasonable price. I had the seafood basket and it arrived with a smile, piping hot and very tasty. I can understand why the have won industry awards. View all feedback.

Starving or craving seafood as soon as you land in Hobart? This is the perfect place just around the corner from the airport. It's quite a small unassuming shop, blink and you'll miss it. They sell both cooked and raw seafood for decent prices. We got a dozen oysters and the seafood basket for under $50. The fish is the seafood basket was very tasty. However we found the crumb on the scallops and calamari to be a bit... View all feedback.
Was a little early for my flight and don't like paying the high prices in the airport terminal. Had noticed this place before but it doesn't look enticing from the road - bit like a pop-up.The menu is fairly large but noticed they had chowder for $13. Thinking it would come out of the kitchen immediately, was getting a little concerned (about missing my flight) after waiting longer than expected. A pleasant surprise when the bowl came, including a beautifully cooked prawn and scallop. The bread was even scrumptious. I'll stop for longer next time to try something more substantial.
This is a little gem of a place. Friendly service and delicious seafood. We've been a couple of times now and for $15.90 for the fish and chips of the day, it's extremely good value for money. A very decent portion (3 pieces of fish!) - we had battered fish both times, super crispy (although a little oily - but hey that's battered fish for you!) fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back!
As a fan of seafood who has eaten here several times I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fresh seafood - from the traditional fish and chips to gourmet lobster and oysters! The availability of a crisp white Tasmanian wine is an added bonus.
We have just finished a seafood basket( fish, scallops, prawns, calamari, chips) and it was delicious, but the best part of the experience was the beautiful, cheerful lady who served us. She couldn't do enough for us and chatted to us the whole time we waited. Thanks for your great food and amazing service!
