"Visits with a friend. Coffee was lovely but the staff were very unprofessional. A member of staff was discussing something personal in a very loud manor. The shop had ourselves and two other parties in there was we all made eye contact as we couldn't believe it. It was also quite chilly. Not half as good as the one in llandudno town. I wont be coming back."

"A treat of a meal. Hard to choose from so many choices for starters and mains. Plenty of fish options but not limited if not a fish fan. Great service relaxed but not slow. Highly recommended!"

"Bobby went out of his way to accommodate. Had a good sense of humour. Initially the place was fully reserved so left no space for us. Made some good recommendations. However, in the end we ended up coming back and were able to eat at this place. The food was of a good standard. Even though the 'Panna cotta ' was not really that, it was still a pleasant dessert."

"Rude and snippy staff who’s mood seemed to change depending on who he was talking to. Snapped and sighed at when choosing my food, dispute there being no one behind me waiting. My LO asked a different staff member a question (very politely) and was told “at the front”. Quality of food extremely disappointing and apparently depends on the day (was here a few days ago and it was quite nice) today everything was dumped on the plate. Other customers were given garnish. May be you have to be a local to be looked after??.."

"Booked a table after the reviews, and what a good choice was the guinness was excellent and saw a great selection of drinks be. the sunday dinner that I had was welsh lamb was also excellent, as was the sticky toffee pudding . the personal was so friendly and attentive, one must have when in the opposite."

"Another great meal at the black lion with great service in front of the house “Phil”. really enjoyed the new starter black pudding court, along with a leber pate. I had my usual filet steak and my daughter had lammschaft both tasty. no room. for dessert, but a apple crawled to the house. half bottles of malbec work well!"

"Another lovely lunch with friends this month at Tudor House, Paul and Ivor always make you feel welcome, and the standard of food and service from their friendly staff is always top notch. A great place to meet for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea,...and they also hold evening events, with themed evenings serving dinner with several courses. Their outside catering is also of the same high standard."
